GliderPilot is a non-commercial, not-for-profit website. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the site and do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way.
When you create an account we collect your email address, and optionally: a screen name, phone number, country, and profile photo. When you post an advert we store the details you provide. When you send messages to other users, those messages are stored to deliver them.
We use one session cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in. This is a strictly necessary cookie required for the site to function. We do not use any advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage only and is never sent to our servers.
All data is stored on servers operated by Supabase, located in the EU (AWS eu-west-1, Ireland). Your data does not leave the European Union.
Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Adverts are kept until you delete them. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing or to request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
