The ASK18 is Schleicher’s latest wooden and tubular design.
It is the successor to the K6E, featuring a stronger tubular fuselage and a laminate nose section.
With the high-performance wings of the K6 extended to 16m – improving glide ratio and minimising the glide loss – it is an excellent glider for building flying skills.
The ‘classic’ tail plan provides ‘relaxed’ handling and an easy landing.
A well-rounded glider, it is the ideal aircraft for young pilots looking to improve their skills, potentially leading to gold and silver badge exams.
